Idol Mess up

Did anyone else watch Idol on DVR/Tivo delay? I did and Idol majorly f'ed up..they were not even close to finishing on time. Not only did I finish 4th in the pool, but I also missed the payoff for all the time spend watching this season. What a slap to the face.

  no tivo cutoffs! daughtry sang at the end of the show on tuesday. did you miss that? they sounded totally sick and chris was awesome as usual. why wasn't fantasia there? all the other idols made it (except of course clay). bette midler was horrible! it was embarassing!

Though the beatle tribute was complete blah you should go back and re-watch all of Kelly Clarkson's numbers. Her new song rocked the house. Also loved Reuben and Jordin's number. They sounded great together! Did anyone else here the rumor that Brittany was going to show? GUessing that's why they did the hokey beatles tribute in the end. B/c she bailed. What was with Clive's tribute to Am Idol - This is why we're so awsome speech - and then not following up with a performance by Chris Daughtery? Doesn't Idol still have rights to him? He should have been there. Poor form!

I can't believe that they had two hours to really do 2 minutes of a show and they still couldn't get it in on time. Did we really need that Beatles sing along? Or the terrible Green Day song? While I love Green Day, that was a sucky song. I like Gwen and Kelly and Doug E. Fresh but I FF'ed through the rest and was totally annoyed that they didn't get to the announcment until after tivo had stopped and I had to go online to find out who won.

Lame.

 my tv hadn't changed chanells so i was able to go to real time and rewind to 10 and watch the last few minutes, which really weren't anything big and reading online serves same purpose, but still, so annoying. i couldn't believe doughtery wasn't there - i ff'd clive and kept stopping to see when he'd introduce chris. lame-o.
