Tried to listen for you

But didn't hear you yelling anything out. I guess you aren't supposed to do that though. Hope it was super fun.

how was arcade fire?

i like wake up, but thats the only song i've heard...

the best part!

it was amazing, the whole thing - just so cool to see all the craziness and activity. they run around at top speed, dragging the actors between skits and there are a load of sets everywhere. but arcade fire was awesome. apparently it never happens at snl, but after the show was over they ran back onto their stage and started playing a private concert for all the people left - and the whole snl cast ran down in front of the stage and were totally rocking out and dancing and singing and having a blast. the band was running around and the lead singer moved into the middle of the crowd to sing. after about 3 songs they whole band came down in the middle of the crowd (which was only snl cast and rain and some staff - camera guys etc) and played 'wake up' acoustic. it was amazing. the only bad part was i couldn't stand to dance, strict no standing. or yelling things out. and i was so close to yelling something during the start but decided getting kicked out in the first skit wouldn't really be fun. tho i laughed as loud as i could and i'm pretty sure you can hear me a couple times during the opening monolough, when he is walking down the hallway and then when loren michaels is on. but after that i chilled b/c my friend couldn't hear what they were saying over my laugh. oops.

Funnier than Fireworks

YouTube has the monologue and at the 3:41 to :42 mark you can hear Sara laughing right before you hear the person yell, "Yeah, Lorne!"

that's kinda scary that you picked it out

i had to go back and listen a second time. but i think you're right. i've heard good things about arcade fire. wake up was the song they'd play right before u2 would come on stage this last tour - which was one of the last bands to keep playing after the show ended at snl. it was weird seeing the cast act like fans at a concert.

just remember

people are there to see the show, not the fans.
