Ok, I'll bite...

I almost didn't watch because I got home late and saw that it was Inspirational songs... blah. boo.  But I'm glad I did, if only because I shocked myself - I loved loved loved John Castro's over the rainbow. Seriously. I couldn't believe it. When the show started and they were all on stage I actually thought upon first glance that he was a character from the L Word.  He has not only never done anything for me in past performances, but also I decided somewhere along the way that he annoyed me terribly.  And all of the sudden, in the midst of my eye-rolling exasperation with that ukelaly (how do you spell that?), I was stunned into paying attention when realized I was loving it.

Michael Johns is just awful, I'm sorry I can't get over it. And knowing how Josh can pull off an ascot, the guy just doesn't have a chance.  I agreed with everything Simon said, except I don't think Kristi Lee is a star (but she's smart and works her fan base) and I love Brooke. I just do.

Even for Michael Johns haters you have to admit that he is way better than KLC or Syesha. Shocking!

jason castro is so freakin cute! i love him. i also love that simon called michael johns a "wannabe" rocker - spot on! do you think they'll send someone home on charity night? i bet it is an all girls bottom 3 and carly could be one of them. death to KLC already!

Last year they didn't send anyone home this week because of Africa and all that. I hope they do this time around, or else every year the contestants will quit trying for this week.

But they are having a special episode tomorrow night where they will announce results. I had to rewind a few times to figure that out as I was so curious b/c they didn't vote anyone off last year. Guessing the charities will lose out b/c how are they going to get everyone to watch tonight? I am so over David A and his "experience" musicals. Uggh he drives me crazy. David Castro def made a comeback last night and David Cook was horrible. That song was just such a bad selection! I hate KLC with all my might. I loved Sayesha's song choice, but mainly b/c it was done by Fantasia. Thought she did a fine job, but she definitely isn't an Idol. Think Carly is still my favorite. But I don't LOVE anyone which is very sad :(

For being guest recapper. I think I have a blank going out this week so I should be fine. Actually it doesn't really matter since I think I have 4 points and there is just no way that I am going to catch up.

Bright side - I did win my office pool for NCAA. Go Jayhawks!

I really enjoyed last night, I was surprised. Agreed, I thought Jason Castro was wonderful and far less annoying than usual. I loved David A. too and secretly loved David C's hand signal, although his song was kind of stinky. I hated Syesha and KLC. Brooke was boring. I don't share the hatred for Michael Johns though, I still like him.

I have an Itunes question: I tried to download David C's from last week and all I could find was a video song, which I can't put on my ipod. Is that all there is available now?

i can't believe i forgot about david c's hand tatoo!!! i loved how simon laughed when he saw it and then had to act like it was a nice thing b/c he knew he'd seem too cold if he made fun of david c. but you know simon wanted to make fun of him. so he took it out on the jacket.

brooke's performances are boring, but i really love her voice. syesha is poo.
