I'm not sure if it will become much of a series in the long run, but I liked the first two hours.

 1 - Jessica Walter - the whole show really should just be her, since she is essentially playing Lucille Bluth but in a bigger house and is therefore great to watch.

2 - Continuity - other than the father claiming he went to West Bev with Kelly, they seemd to keep everything fairly consistent.  The inclusion of Andrea Zuckermen's daughter (and the crack about her age) and the youngest Silver child (who clearly is still f'ed up from when David left her in the park while he was shooting meth) were nice - and next week Kelly's mom is back.

3 - The Peach Pit - this I didn't like.  I understand that if the Peach Pit had stayed a diner with fries and coffee, then the current cast of wealking anorexics would never go there (not that they all couldn't use ten or twelve mega burgers.  The new show really puts into perspective how the original cast, while not realistic in age, was so much more realistic in body types), but then agin the Peach Pit even in the first version was an anachronism.  So I find it hard to beleive that Nat would really have had to overhaul the place into a coffee and tea joint to survive. 

4 - Nat - If Joe E. tata does not become uncomfortably involved in the lives of the current cast members, and if he is relegated to just popping in and out of a scene every now and then to ask about Brandon, then this show is a failure before it has really begun.  

5 - The last few years have not been kind to Shannen Doherty 

6 - Naomi - Isablle likes her.  I don't know what I think of her character, except that it is a nice homage to the original show to have a main character that really isn't attractive ala Donna.
