Best Action Films of All Time

So one of my fav sites Pajiba has a new top 15 list of the best Action Films of All Time.

While I don't agree with all of them, (Mr. & Mrs. Smith) There are some great ones on the list including: Terminator 2, Aliens, The Professional, The Matrix (only the first one), Radiers of the Lost Arc.

Man I love Raiders. That is such a good movie, "That's just my pet snake Reggie!" All three of the Indy movies were great. I have to say, I used to watch Temple of Doom over and over again. Monkey Brains.

Other films that did not make the list which are also awesome: The Italian Job, True Romance, Gladiator. 

I am also really glad that some super sucky films like face/off, Con-Air, The Rock, etc. did not make it in.

Daniel Craig definitely deserves to be up there. Love love The Professional though!

i think the top 4 is arguably in line with reality, but commando and mr. and mrs. smith?     this list, like many, exclusively covers movies made in the last 25 years and that's a shame.  what about the dirty dozen?  lee marvin, charles bronson, telly savalas, john cassavettes, jim brown, donald sutherland, trini lopez and ernest friggin' borgnine take it to the nazis, man.  c'mon.  this is top 3, easy.  or how about the great escape?  or bullitt - the greatest car chase of all time.   or one james bond movie? 

and predator is a far better movie than commando.  so's total recall for that matter.  i think even running man is better than commando.

the professional was good, but it's not even luc besson's best movie.  la femme nikita is better.  and if the criteria includes making me want to fuck shit up, then clockwork orange needs to be on the top of the list because who doesn't want to beat old men and their wives with giant ceramic dildos after watching that?  i know i'm not the only one.

and if desperado is in there, then that opens the genre up to westerns.  and then desperado isn't even the best movie that ends in "erado."  silverado (with its allstar cast)claims that title.

and if matrix and aliens are on this list, then that opens this up to sci-fi and fantasy, and then where's motherfuckin' star wars?  that movie makes you want to choke people with your mind.

and if kill bill is in there, then that opens the list up to martial arts movies.

also, are epics not action/adventure?  spartacus?  braveheart?

btw, live free or die hard looks bad (not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good).
